If you are looking for an great place to stay in Missoula, look no further. The Shady Spruce not only provides a safe fun environment with lots to do, and also has an atmosphere that whispers the true Montana feel with a holistic and natural flare. This is a wonderful place! You wont be disappointed!
Great neighborhood right downtown and the place was super clean! Big bonus was the bikes you can take out around town for free. Definitely recommend.
Great clean place to rest. Staff is nice. Close parking. Lovely location. Very quiet. I stayed on Thursday night in the ladies dorm. Well worth staying.
Great location, super friendly staff, clean rooms and bathrooms, lots of resources available to help learn about the area. Just an all around great hostel, I'm looking forward to my next stay!
What You would expect out of a hostel. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms are very clean. I stayed in the single private which is right next to the other rooms and you can here the next door neighbor snoring, so bring your ear plugs . Never went in the kitchen because there were just always so many people in there and I’m not super into chatting with strangers early in the morning. Good spot if you are on a budget! Loud during my stay due to all the young 20 somethings staying here ... and not sure there is a “quiet hours” time ... but those particular guests didn’t respect it (loud and talking outside in front of the porch up until 1am and up at 630am being loud as well that next morning).
