Residence Inn by Marriott Missoula Downtown

This hotel is located in downtown Missoula. The rooms are modern, clean and well maintained. Due to COVID-19 there wasn’t any hot breakfast. Instead grab and go was offered. We didn’t not take it so I couldn’t tell if it is any good. There are restaurants near by so it shouldn’t be a problem.nnAcross the street diagonally is a parking garage that offer free parking from 6PM to 9PM weekdays and all day weekends. There is also a free EV charging station in the garage though you are limited to 2 hours only.nnOverall a good and convenient place to stay.

They had a TV with a recording of a fireplace Haha. it's great, who needs a real fire. Nice architecture.nThe basal restaurant Cafe deal attached is really good. I usually don't care for salads that much. But they changed my opinion on salads. They are great. Good espresso too.

The hotel itself was nice and the room was fantastic. However our experience that followed completely ruined the weekend and we will absolutely never ever stay at ANY Residence inn ever again.nUpon arrival we left our car for the valet service- it wasn’t busy at all. Only one other car in front of us. We got to the desk and had to wait in the lobby for 45 minutes because the system was down for check in. Which wasn’t a problem... we waited at the FRONT DESK LOBBY.... turns out the valet driver never took our keys... also didn’t come inside to find us while we were waiting. Never called us to ask for keys- never called the room- or called the number on the business card that were sitting in the Center console. So our car got towed!!!!! Didn’t find out until the morning when we asked for our car from the valet service... $300 later!!!!!! Had to get a lift out to the towing yard. We were never reimbursed- still paid for valet- still paid full price for the room... asked for the manager or for them to contact us. No help from the front they o my said they would pass our details to the manager. Never got a call- asked again to speak to management and same situation.nnAbsolutely terrible service and ruined our whole next day trying to figure out where the hell our car was and how to get to it and pay for it and wait for someone to meet us at the yard. Complete sh** show! Never ever ever again!! Around $500 wasted for one night stay and a ruined next day with plans having to be cancelled. Many hotels in the area- AVOID THIS HOTEL

Location is great it's nearby many many restaurants offers valet parking very nice sized rooms beds are extremely comfortable the pillow top. Breakfast is well done even during Covid 19 and services outstanding.nValet will tell you that parking is nearly a block and a 1/2 away it's actually adjacent to the hotel to hotel and there's free parking on the street until 9:00 a.m. I chose Valet parking because it was convenient.

This newly remodeled Marriot is beautiful!! Located in downtown Missoula, it is easy walking distance to lots of restaurants and shopping, as well as the University. There are several new restaurants, businesses and a deli in the same block. Views are fantastic and the service staff helpful.
