I don't know why this place got bad reviews. I guess people are looking for a super fancy Hiltonesque hotel and try to compare it to here. The staff was friendly and helpful. Yes the rooms could use a bit of updating but overall the rooms have plenty of room, big beds and good prices so if you're looking for a good hotel for a good price look no further
Cleaner and nicer than I expected . Great location right off the exit. Plenty of walking distance food spots as well
Ridiculous. Nasty hotel. Rude service who doesn't try to resolve issues. Constant noise from people slamming doors. Better luck staying in your own vehicle.
Clean, quiet and comfortable except for desk chair(which is only chair ud83dudcba in room. If you lean back too far you tip over. It has happened to me at a different hotel with same model chair!nnThere should be some kind of breakfast or a rate reduction in the price of the room. How hard would it be for the manager or front-desk clerk to take an order the night before. In other words you can specify a buttered roll, bagel with cream cheese, or a corn muffin..etc. Just one item would be better than nothing! They could contract with a local caterer and have it pre-packaged. I think the covid-19 excuse thing is worn out!
I dont know how this place has any negative reviews... I've stayed in all the Torrington hotels, and this one is BY FAR the best. Friendly staff, very very clean nice rooms for a great price!
