This inn isn’t just for summer—we spent Christmas week at the inn and it was a perfect, quiet, and relaxing getaway from the city! Everyone who works at the inn is truly incredible and kind and breakfast was great each day, with accommodating options for vegans. We were even allowed to bring our cats along due to their pet-friendly section of rooms, which made the holiday perfect. Couldn’t have had a better experience—recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful getaway.
Beautiful place.
A wonderful B&B in the Northwest corner of CT. Close to farms, hiking trails and bakeries. The breakfast uses all local farms for the meal. We look forward to staying at the on site cottage every year. You are made very welcome by the caretaker, his wife and their dog. The picture says it all.
This was a lovely spot in a beautiful location. It felt very cozy and personable, which also means you should definitely get there at a reasonable hour and make sure they know when you are coming! This isn't the kind of place with a permanent staff at the front desk. There weren't toiletries in the bathroom--maybe there were some if you needed them, but we had everything we needed. I only wish we hadn't left before breakfast. Apparently it's quite good!
Nice dog friendly B & B. Good breakfast. Nice grounds. A fire pit would make it awesome
