A great 5 evenings at Jay's Motel. The grounds are large and well maintained. A nice pond and lovely woods outside my back window. The place was very clean. I wiped down all surfaces and the bathroom floor with wipes (for Covid) and the wipes were spotless. No hairs or dust or anything. You cannot beat the price or location. The big hotels in Bristol are more than twice the price and too far away. The next closest hotels are low-end chains in Torrington and Waterbury, also too far. Plenty of places to eat in town. I will keep off the 5th star for minor reasons. No clock or fridge and the room lighting was a little dim. All small issues that I will prepare for the next time I visit.
It was nice, me and my boyfriend wasn't bothered.. It was peaceful.nThe only thing that bothered us was the customer service......

Awesome establiment. I have been coming to this motel for over a decade. Highly recommend. Awesome view of a natural historic habitat.. wildlife of all kinds. The frogs aren't loud enough to be heard inside your room but go outside and it's a symphony. Great location and best prices around.
