The rooms were very well appointed, clean, and they had a small pack of sanitizing wipes in the room. The desk and kitchen table were comfortable. The couch is L shaped with plenty of room for two people to get comfortable. The separate bedroom was wonderful for the extra privacy.nnOutside there was a fire pit to sit near. This is great when you are visiting as it gives a safer place to meet up with ambiance.nnThere aren't a lot of places to stay up here so this was a true find. Updated, with good amenities.
Excellent hotel and excellent staff. Very quiet part of town. Outside grill seems to stay operable all year which is a bonus for me.
I have traveled quite a bit recently, and I felt that this Marriott was not updated like the others across numerous cities. All hotels have the shampoo and shower gel built in the stalls, except this one. The carpet, décor and the rooms were out-of-date. It was clean, however and staff was helpful. The breakfast in a to-go lunch bag was nice.
We stayed here for a week. The amenities are perfect for making your food, cooking on a grill, and for pets. The management is excellent. The drawback was being offered a lousy bad of stuff for breakfast. A much better choice is the Simsbury Inn.
Stay was fine, Covid provisional actions dampens daily cleaning and they give a you brown bag for breakfast.
