We had my daughter’s bridal shower at The Charles Cheney Inn Sunday August 16, 2020. The mansion is gorgeous, and Laura was an absolutely dream to work with. Very accommodating, thoughtful and super sweet. The food was delicious. Despite the rain we were able to utilize the outside under tents on either side of the Koi pond. My cousin also stayed at the Inn during that weekend. She loved it. It was everything we could have asked for and more. We would definitely go back for events or for the accommodations. Very lovely. Lovely Victorian B&B located in the historic district of Manchester, CT. I have stayed there three times and can't imagine staying anywhere else when I visit my hometown. Laura and John have created a place that transports you back to another time. The mansion is tastefully decorated to reflect the Victorian era with period pieces and beautiful drapery and bed linens. As Laura loves to bake, breakfast will always include homemade breads and muffins along with fresh fruit, coffee, tea and juice. She is also very accommodating if you have special dietary needs. A beautiful, peaceful respite for any traveler.
