I just wanted to rest a bit after a long three months of solid work. Checked in around 5pm. Room was overly warm. I turned the thermostat down to 68. After just a few minutes it reset to 72. Actual temperature in my room was 76, not 72. I turned it down again. It reset again. The thing has an infrared sensor. When there is no movement, it resets. So be prepared to attempt sleep in a room that does not allow you to set a comfortable ttemperature. I was awake most of the night, sweating. Night desk was polite, but no help whatsoever. The next morning, after not sleeping, I did a load of laundry down the hall. I stepped out of the room to get clothes out of the dryer, the door key no longer worked when I tried to get back in the room. So I had to go to the front desk, with laundry in hand, and request another key. There was no one at the desk. After about 5 minutes she came out of the restaurant. She had an attitude because I was more than put out with the whole situation and wanted a working key to get back in to my now 80 degree room.

Very nice, clean hotel! I'm not gonna lie I've never stayed in a 5star hotel before & this place didn't disappoint. It smells go good throughout the whole hotel the pool in indoors is nice & clean our room, beautiful!! Lol I'm so happy I got to get away for the weekend here.

One of the best places I've ever been that treated me so nicely! Rose, Marquita, and Vernetta are the best! Lysol clean room! Drivers are the best! Got me home on time! I hope to have another business trip to Windsor Locks, Connecticut again! I'm staying at the DoubleTree! Be nice and you'll get a cookie ud83cudf6a!!!

Lobby and restaurant are nice. Room is not... showed up and didn’t have a mini fridge for two days. Nice big tv though
