I was traveling from North Carolina to Maine and was about 5 miles from the Connecticut border and had a horrendous accident that left me stranded. I needed a place to stay for the night and stumbled upon this hotel, and I'm so glad I did. I don't remember the lady's name, (I assume she was the manager) and the front desk clerk were more than hospitable and compassionate for my situation. I felt so at home and was able to relax after a traumatic experience. Thank you for welcoming me into what felt like home at that moment! I was hours from home with no family around, and your hospitality meant more to me than I could ever explain. I just hope Marriott knows what wonderful staff they have at this location! Spacious rooms that are all suites with fridge and microwave. Nice sitting area with pullout couches in every room. Sink and mirror are separate from bathroom which is nice when multiple people are trying to get ready. Above average very friendly staff at front desk, in breakfast area, and housekeeping. Beds are large, quiet, and comfortable. Easy temperature control in room. Free breakfast has a good selection of hot and cold items to satisfy and disposable products to make it possible to grab and go if necessary. The pool area is clean and water clear. Fitness room is right and small with the absolute minimum items you could have to even call it a workout room.
Very unprofessional, huge lack in customer service and hospitality.nEmployees seem very disgruntled about doing the job as hired for.
Currently undergoing remodeling, but the noise isn't too bad. The breakfast options were good for a SpringHill Suites. The rooms were roomy and newly renovated. Good locatuon right off I-84.
