Modernaire Motel

People live there now. Never an open room.

This motel is so cute and retro, and a great value for the money. Management was friendly, the room was clean and quiet. There was a mini fridge, microwave,TV, and a window air conditioning unit that worked great in the room. Very pleased with the Modernaire and would stay again!

This motel is as vintage as you can find, glass bricks, neon and all. I have stayed in many small older motels, and is one where I really felt comfortable and happy. Our room was spacious, and the everything was very clean and well maintained. The bedroom decor is mid-century modern... the REAL kind and in great , well cared for condition. The bathroom was brand-new and squeaky clean. The room had a nice tv with many channels. Our Modernaire stay was a pleasant experience and I will stay there again if ever back in York.

It's not a completely terrible place to stay... And it is pretty outdated and a little run down but you get what you pay for. whoever was running the front desk at the time though was super nice and saved the room for us even though we were running late. If you're looking for a fast, easy, inexpensive place to stay the night that has many different stores and restaurants within easy access than this is probably place.

Nice place. Friendly service. We have stayed at three road side inns in york over the past month and this is our favorite. Clean. No bed bugs. Even matress protectors on the beds. I've ridden past this place for twenty years and I am quite impressed
