The room was fine, wish the pillows were better. Temps at night were hard to get right. Due to covid there was no breakfast or cafe, just packaged snacks and coffee, with no tea even. It's near shopping centers and strip malls, there was allegedly a walking path nearby but I didn't find it. Also the fire pits and grills outside were not working either
María P was so amazing! She made our stay the best of times. She was so friendly and energetic! We will definitely be returning if we have to stay in York again
I called the hotel to see if they had their pool open and I was told they did. I immediately booked the room and drove over to take my 2 year old grandsons swimming, like I promised them, as I tried to check in the girl asked if I was the one who called about the pool and I said yes. She gave me some line about something being to high and it in fact wasn't open. I had already booked the hotel and now had to find another hotel and pay for that. I understand that we're in a pandemic but being sneaky isn't a way to get customers
This Marriott is a mess. Broken lamps, not working heat. No wonder people are selling their stock. If this Marriott represents what is happening with the company, it is in non-stoppable decline in quality and customer service. Marriott as a company is no longer there. Time to move on to other hotels.
Awesome they fit me right in when my other hotel was closed. Friendly staff and willing to help anyway they could. Clean quiet and comfy.
