Lake Moc-A-Tek Inn

First let me say the owners Seth and Nina were AMAZING!!! They went above and beyond to help us out! Second the place is so beautiful. At night you can hear the frogs and during the day you can watch cranes and other birds flying around the lake. If you love the lake house you will fall in love with this place! The room we stayed in was so cute. There was a master bed room, another room with two beds plus a loft that an older child could climb a ladder to, a kitchen and a living room. Absolutely recommend this place!!! If you want a cute quite place....this is hands down it!!!!

Great place to get away. Clean rooms and the owners couldn't be more accommodating. Already booked my next trip.

Kinda like the summer cottage that your Aunt and Uncle let you stay at every year. No frills but met our every need. Wonderful owners and management. Lake was low in summer, we want to go back in The Fall when it's full and the leaves are glowing :) Still enjoyed the frogs and stars at night on our personal patio. We were in Suite 5, and it was pretty clean. The shallow lake was a disappointment. The wall decor seemed dated and cheap to me. I would have removed all of it and focused on clean bare walls. Suggestions: a good floor scrubbing, (my feet got dirty in room) an area carpet for when you get out of bed. Curtains instead of blinds on the front windows. Also, a book of local info for restaurants, grocery stores, sightseeing, rules of the inn, etc would have been welcomed. We will return :) Thank you for a great visit!

If you're looking for a cozy, quiet, homey place to stay while visiting Pennsylvania, I highly recommend Lake Mocatek Inn. It is extremely affordable for what they give you. We booked the studio apartment suite that has a full kitchen that also comes with a few dishes and a small balcony looking over the lake. It's located close to two small towns with with many options for food and activities. The gentleman who was in the office area was also extremely helpful and nice, and has recommendations of places to visit and restaurants to try. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Drove by planning to stay but place looks really run down. Lake is covered in algae... Not like thirty pics show.
