Ledges Hotel

This hotel was so beautiful and historic! My husband and I came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the Ledges hotel and staff were excellent! Not only was it a beautiful hotel with beautiful decor and sights, but the staff made us feel so welcomed and special! They gave us a gorgeous two floor suite with a spiral staircase. We also had dinner at Glass which was wonderful because they had cozy lighting and heat lamps and live music the night we came for dinner! The food and service was great ! The views are phenomenal and so relaxing! We also had coffee and sandwiches at the coffee shop next door which was also delicious! Overall we had an exceptional stay and we will definitely be back once the weather is warmer and we can enjoy patio seating outside! Thank you for making our very rare getaway from life and life so memorable!

Stayed at Ledges for my wife's birthday. Had a fantastic time. We used amenities at sister resorts like breakfast at Settlers and paddle boarding at Silver Birches. Staff was very accommodating. We ate at Glass and enjoyed live music along with great food and drinks. The 1 bedroom suite was very nice and we loved the spiral staircase and overall design of the suite and property as a whole. We will definitely return.

We overall loved our stay at the Ledges Hotel! The close proximity to Lake Wallenpaupack was one of the primary reasons we decided to stay, as well as the historic nature of the hotel with it's on site waterfall.nnThis was one of those properties that was so serene, and had so much to offer that I still gave it a 4-star rating, despite some of it's glaring setbacks.nnThat said, we only had two complaints about our stay that we think future guests should take note of:nn1) The room we got on the first floor by the lobby - as other reviewers have mentioned - was so loud with lobby noise. The worst part was that you could hear footfall and banging noises directly above us, which did cause a couple of sleepless nights. Then again, that may simply be the price you pay for staying at a historic, charming hotel out in the middle-of-nowhere, PA that's on the first floor. But the impact sounds from above were among the worst we've heard.nn2) We were not impressed with the service we received at the Glass Wine Bar & Kitchen. While the exceptional panoramic views and stars almost certainly made up for it, the server quite literally forgot about us while we were there. On the few occasions he did finally make it tableside he appeared confused and flustered, or would continue to forget our orders. This happened a good 7-8 times.nnOther than that, we do think that if you can get yourself a room with a view that's not on the first floor, and you don't have bad luck when it comes to your server, you will thoroughly enjoy your experience!

Modernistic hotel in sublime location. The terraces of the place are divine. Awesome to sip on a glass of wine and enjoying some good food with great service. A best by far in the area.

LOVE the spiral staircases up to the bedrooms! room 102 was absolutely perfect. it had a beautiful view of the waterfall, spacious and bright. we had a wonderful time. thank you!
