The Lodge at Keen Lake

I am beyond amazed at this beautiful property and the beautiful people who own it! I traveled to the Waymart area as a day trip but decided to stay a few days. I called this location and Joyce and Dean pleasantly accommodated me for 2 nights at the last minute. It was such a beautiful and relaxing experience. The condo was perfect. Both aesthetically and utility-wise. I was able to enjoy my time cooking, resting, and just looking out at the beautiful scenery. I highly recommend The Lodge at Keen Lake and recommend you also check out their store nearby the Wallflower as the decor in the condos is simply beautiful!

Absolutely breathtaking. The pictures do not do it justice. The price is low and definitely worth a lot more. People leave reviews for outside Caterers that have nothing to do with this place. I have never seen anything that has intrigued me so much. Scenery the scenery goes on forever. There are trails, horseback riding oh, plenty of activities. The lodge is available for weddings. Five stars all the way!

I love staying at the Lodge! I spent my first weekend here in December 2018, and have come back several times since. The condos are beautiful (decorated during the holiday season in December), and so comfortable. Full Kitchen for all your needs, dining area, outdoor patio. The lodge is about 20 minutes from Scranton (awesome in the winter to hit Montage Mountain and some good dining spots), and 10 minutes or so from Honsedale (small business shops and great restaurants- check out the brewery). When the weather is nicer Prompton state park is nearby which offers hiking trails (also water falls!). The grounds at the Lodge are beautiful for walking over to Keen lake as well. The owners are so accommodating and lovely people. Joyce runs a shop in town in Honesdale I’d recommend checking out!

If you're visiting Honesdale and the surrounding areas this is where you want to stay. The staff is friendly and the accomodations are beautiful. We rented on of the larger unit to visit some relatives in the area and I couldn't ask for a better place to rest and relax. Make sure to stop at the Wallflower downtown for all of your gifts. They have a wide variety of unique and high-end merchandise that will have you coming back year after year.
