I've been shopping at this particular Rite Aid since 1998, since I live around the corner. It was upsetting to me one day that I was falsely accused of shoplifting for the fact that as I checked out and walked past the detectors it beeped. I stopped and walked back. The cashier and manager came and checked the bag which didn't beep when they scanned it past the detectors. They immediately turned to me and asked if they can check my pockets which I said no, among other frustrating questions. They returned my items purchased to me and as I left the detectors didn't beep; proving that I didn't take anything, especially since they can easily go back and check their cameras. I honestly think the cashier was racially profiling me and wanted to cash in on reporting theft in the store.

Don't know if they have new posted hours or they usually close 15 mins before 10pm. Definitely not cool.nnIn another complaint:nnCashiers were busy gossiping too much for them to bag my item and give me my receipt in a timely matter. Just grabbed my item and left the store.nnI don’t accept the apology Because there’s a time and place for gossiping, and it’s definitely not in front of customers.
