After having a disastrous experience with another local deck builder, we contacted Jim Loisel, owner of Coeur d'Alene Deck. He and his crew fit us into his schedule, repaired all the damage that had been previously done and provided a beautiful 3 tier deck in about 2 weeks. The workers were polite, industrious and cleaned up every day when they were finished working. They even repaired some areas that had been damaged by the former builder at no extra cost. It's been a long time since we have had such great service. Thank you Jim and crew.
What a horrible company to work with.nI can not believe they are in business.nAbsolute liars.nDo not even ask for a quote, total dirtbags.nNot a professional in materials, how he talks to you and your family when you question his work and how he responds to a problem he doesn't think is worth his time when he has bigger jobs coming up. My deck was $13,500. He let me know he takes care of demolition of your old deck and hauls it away. Once your deck is gone you will see that you are left with the holes from where your old deck stood as well as the rebar sticking up from where your old posts were. After several calls and nearly a month he stopped by and finally agreed to put some cement over the holes, he was reluctant to do this even though it looked awful there were 4 holes where posts were and rebar sticking out. I had also brought up that each post had wood that had knicks and large splinters one post had a splinter not fully detached which the cement attempts to place back which makes it more noticeable and unattractive especially combined with the hasty cement work.
