Magnuson Hotel Ely

Its a little small, but nothing wrong with it. Its really clran and smells fresh, tv and everything works. 10/10 great hotel for the price.

The nicest staff ever..the manager Schyler is awesome and truly cares.. clean rooms... and close to everything you need..

Had to wait to check in cause she was getting dinner which is fine, BUT grab and go breakfast never happened, was supposed to be at 7am nope didn't happen. Don't advertise breakfast when no one can get up to make sure breakfast happens. So disappointed !!!!!!!

Reservations through Expedia so check in was smooth, staff was friendly. The room was clean but rather worn. I paid for a queen bed but a full sized bed in the room. The TV was old tube type, although they did have Dish Network. The ice machine was broken so getting ice meant a trip to the office and a significant wait for staff to appear. Breakfast was included and consisted of a frozen Jimmy Dean's sausage, egg, cheese biscuit. No fruit or juice. No house keeping during the two night stay. I told office - no move to correct the problem, offer of fresh towels or even an apology. Walls are paper thin, i could here the people next door when they scratched. Only bar soap, no shampoo or conditioner. The phone did not work. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid

The hotel is older, but has been updated inside and had helpful staff.
