The Springs

This place is amazing! The people who work there are so wonderful. We had booked an 8pm soak and on the way up, the alternator to our vehicle went out. We were 3 miles away. I called the office and told them what happened and without hesitation or question, they sent an employee out in the snow to come look for us and give us a jump (thank you Candace). My friend forgot his shorts, they gave him loaners. The wonderful lady at the front desk knew we were stressed and just said to relax and she would take care of the rest. While we were trying to get the last 45 minutes of opening hours in, she had arranged for us the last hotel that was open for us to stay in and also a ride to get up there. I cannot tell you how grateful we were to all the employees at The Springs thank you all for your kindness and your help and hospitality so much. It’s an amazing place to go. The scene is beautiful, the locker rooms and bathrooms are clean and they have everything you need. I definitely recommend this place and trust me we will be back!

Worth the short drive to get to this lovely hot springs. This springs is in a spa type set up. Everything is clean and very accommodating to the guests. Pool-side service is amazing. There is a jacuzzi/hotter pool if you need more heat, a steam room, massage is available and private grotto/soaking pools that I have heard are lovely. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I am ready to go back! Highly recommended.

This place is awesome. The facilities are updated, very clean and well-maintained. The service was excellent, the water feels great and the view is phenomenal. We went in the middle of winter, sipped beers and watched the sun set over the mountains in the big pool. The air was 28° and the main pool is outdoors, but it felt just fine from the comfort of the hot springs! Next time, I definitely want to rent a private pool just to have that experience, too, but it was a terrific experience, highly recommend.nnNOTE: call ahead to reserve a spot, they're flexible about your arrival time (I was told they give an hour grace-period from the time of your reservation), but they fill up and it would be a drag to get all the way to Idaho City and not get in!

The Springs are great all year round! The wait staff around the pool have always provided exemplary service and the food is delicious on the eyes and the stomach. Front desk staff can be hit or miss but last visit was 100% great - friendly and helpful! Price isn't cheap but by far the best bang for the buck as far hot spring spas go. Give it a go. Within a minute in the water you'll be glad you did!

The best way to unwind in an enhanced natural setting. You really can't just visit once. Steamy pool, tremendously relaxing atmosphere. Private tubs with regular drink service. The large public tub allows for more complete star gazing. The super cookies sold at the counter make the ride home sweet as can be.
