Champion Windows and Home Exteriors of Boise

Ordered my door on 4/23/20 we were told 8 to 10 weeks. We had to call at 10 weeks and were told that the door would be In next week and we would get a call to install, we did. When the installers showed up the door was too tall and too narrow. They called to see what they could do. They were going to order a new door which would take another 5 to 6 weeks. We tried to call both the toll free and local numbers to see if we could get a partial refund, we were transferred to a call center which took a message and our number and said someone would get back to us. It has been over a week and two more calls from us and no response. I paid up front. I will never use champion again. Update 9/1 was told last week our door should be on the truck today. We called again only to find out that it was not, but should be here on the 8th. They are over 60 days late and have not offered anything for our inconvenience. Their own representative did the initial measurements and not us and we are put out with little to no communication.

Everything was great until we had a problem.nIt has been months of trying to get a replacement handle for our sliding glass door. All excuses or no responses. Tried calling, multiple times talked to numerous people, got lots of promises. Still nothing.nWent on line, filled out their request for help and here we are a month later still crickets....nNot sure if they are still running a business.

Champion Window quality is great. Champion Window Boise customer service, TERRIBLE!! Our screen door broke so we tried to contact the Boise store for a replacement. The store never answers their phone and the location site is rarely open. After a week of not being able to reach a person, my husband took the screen door down to the store in hopes of getting a replacement. There happened to be people working that day and a gentleman took the door and said they would repair it and get back with my husband when it was done. It's been two weeks and we've heard nothing. We've called.....no answer.....we've driven to the store 3 different times....no one around and doors are locked. We've called the customer service line and 3 different times they have told us they would contact/phone/email the Boise location about the issue and someone would contact us. Still nothing! I guess it's time to get the BBB involved! It's unfortunate that the customer service level is so poor, as their product is great and we've had no issues for several years with the product.
