Modern Hotel

What a lovely spot! Arrived a bit early and the staff were welcoming and informative. This place is incredibly clean, very cute, and located in a convenient area. The shower is EPIC, the bed comfy, the room perfectly decorated in a minimalist way. I fell in love with Idaho today, and this is the perfect spot to stay.

Really unique nice hotel, Modern Hotel, new modern/contemporary design, LOVE the shower, huge/epic, and nice touches (nice toiletries bag, 4 good pillows per bed, documentaries on the very nice TV, ginkgo trees in common area). Only thing that we thought could definitely be improved is some artwork on the large expanses of concrete (for us it was near the door) - my husband and I agreed it felt quite depressing in those areas - but no one else in the reviews seemed to mind, so maybe it was just us!

Super chill boutique hotel with a great staff and service. The rooms are clean and modern and the location was perfect. I would definitely stay here again.

Friendly welcome and lots of care taken for safety during COVID, including hand sanitizer, individual amenities packs, and postings about social distancing. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable, and the shower was very fancy. Uber from the airport was around $13, although if we had booked directly through the hotel's website they would have covered this expense (they do not if you book through a third party, so do the math). Good food, coffee, and alcohol options within walking distance. Seemed like a relatively safe neighborhood. Would love to visit again under normal circumstances and try their cocktails.

The Modern is the only hotel we choose for our staycations. Why? It’s clean, classy, and downtown.nnFood: In house, their own restaurant is worth trying and if you end up somewhere else, I would highly recommend at least stopping for drinks. They also have a sister restaurant called Txikiteo, which serves tapas and wine and is priced exceptionally well.nnRooms: The rooms are large, well-designed and if you decide to stay in one of the larger suites, the tub is an amazing place to spend your time. They also have this ongoing movie marathon in their rooms, which we tune into every time we stay. It plays these weird little indie films which are interesting to watch. Plus they have two TVs in the larger suite! They are also dog-friendly which is great to see so our most recent stay was for the whole family (dogs included).nnStaff: The staff have always been friendly and easy the check-in/out process is super quick. During the pandemic they extended their check-out time an hour and it was fantastic to take our time that morning. We once forgot our overpriced beer in the fridge and they even saved it for us.
