Hotel was older but the rooms were nice, we loved the vibe the pool gave. The pool has a food and drinks serve too! This hotel is right on the river and the Greenbelt so we were able to walk down the path a little bit before dinner. Green Belt had cool bridge and things to see. We ate at the hotel restaurants next to the pool where they had love music and good burgers. Really enjoyed our stay.

Trace was an absolute joy to work with! She was super friendly, and very accommodating! Jenny, at the Sandbar, also played a part in our wonderful stay! Friendly service and tasty beverages!nIt is refreshing to be around people in the service industry who can still be kind through everything their jobs are throwing at them! Good on you ladies! ud83dudc4f

I've traveled a fair amount for work and pleasure, stayed at some really nice places, and some not so nice. Riverside was good. Go down the checklist: food was good, decent tap list, clean spacious room, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, accommodating staff, and most of all, they welcomed my kitty, Scamp. And a warm chocolate chip cookie at check in.

I've spent many years travelling with the military and I must say this hotel is hands down the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Between the polite staff and relaxing atmosphere, not to mention the location right along the river and the entertainment front local artists and musicians. If you're looking for a place that captures the local scenery of Boise, this is it

Our stay at the Riverside is usually a good experience, this time was much different. Our room appeared clean until we used the shower. The soap plate was dirty. You can see the dust around the outline where the soap sat. There was a hair in our disposable cups for coffee or tea. To top it off we were woken up around 5:40 by the fire alarm going off. We had to evacuate and there were no staff directing anyone. We never saw a staff member even after the alarms were turned off. We weren't sure if we should go back in or try and find a staff member to see if it was safe yet. Turned out someone pulled an alarm but there was no emergency. I understand that isn't the hotels fault but there needed to be done kind of staff directing all of the guests that were standing outside in our pajamas without any idea of what to do or what had even happened. Then at Breakfast a waiter with gloves and mask on wiped his sweaty forehead with his glove but then proceeded to grab a customer's bill ticket and hand it to her with the gloved hand he had wiped his forehead with. Then he seated another customer without changing his gloves and handed the man his drink with the same sweaty gloved hand. We will be back next year and I hope it will be better. We come here every year on our anniversary because this is where we had our first date at the Riverside Grill 3 years ago.
