Country Hearth Inn Winnemucca

My husband and I had been driving all day with our four kids and arrived late at night completely exhausted, and were so relieved to finally make it to a motel to get some sleep. The front desk clerk lady gave us the key and we walked up to our room. To our shock, we noticed the beds weren't even made. My husband walked back to the front desk to explain while my kids and I waited out in the freezing cold, and he came back with another key. Same thing happened again with the second room!! We were so frustrated we decided to just go to a different motel. A few weeks later, my husband noticed that the motel had charged us even though we never even stepped a foot in a room. He called to explain and get his refund but the manager would not refund the $78 charge!! I almost never write reviews but this was so appalling that I knew it needed to be made known publicly. Our family really doesn't need this right now as we are struggling financially because of the move and a lot of debt from medical reasons. This isn't right, and it isn't fair.

it's not the Hilton obviously, but for it's price it's the Hilton of cheap. it's decent as heck, clean, they provide extra towels without even having to ask. I definitely 100% recommend you book. literally the only issue I had was the soaps. but who has ever been satisfied with hotel soaps, I mean???

For the price we paid for the suite I swore it looked like the pictures were too good to be true. But when we checked in we were greeted by a nice young man with great manors. My kiddo and I walked into our room and honestly I wasn't expecting it to look like the pictures. I thought we were going to walk into more of a run down room but to my surprise it was really nice and clean. My family and I will definatly be staying here again when we come to visit family. :)

Thank you Lucy for helping us with a middle of the night reservation and Nar for getting us fed and on the road a few hours later. Would stay here again if caught in a snow storm on our way from Sacramento to Boise lol. Clean room and beds!

Huge room, comfy bed, dirty though. Found a week old half an apple under the bed along with quite a bit of other trash in the corners and under the furniture.
