Car troubles kept us in Winnemucca overnight. Found the Super 8 close to Les Schwab. Pet Friendly a plus! Nice breakfast in the morning. Was able to plug our freezer in to an outlet in the RV lot out back! Saved the food!
Only downside, noisy people coming in at all hours. Noisy hallway outside, heavy walkers in upstairs room at 1AM.
Older motel that is due for an upgrade. Room was reasonably clean and very quiet. The woman who checked me in was very friendly. Internet hardly worked on any device and the clothes iron needs to be replaced, because when I filled it with water, it all leaked out. For what I needed (a good night's sleep) it worked. But if I visit Winnemucca again I probably would stay somewhere else and pay another $20.
Great place! Room was great! Workers at front desk friendly and helpful and answered my questions about the name Winnemucca and made me a copy of the history of Winnemucca. 👍🙋♀️🇺🇸
Super rude! Typically Super 8 is a reliable place to stay for cheap. I was passing through town and was looking for a place to stay the night and the second I walked in the door I was not even greeted or looked at. The older white lady behind the counter was extremely rude and gave me a hard time for not booking online first. I tried to be kind and ask how her day was going and she replied "it WAS going good... she was so unbelievably uninviting that I chose to spend more money somewhere else. Hope she has a preformance review coming up soon.
The receptionist did not enforce mask policy in the lobby because she doesn't believe in covid. She would not change our room to the first floor after we were informed the building had no elevator even after we explained that I had a leg injury and couldn't carry half a car of valuables up a flight of stairs ( I had to hobble up and my wife has to carry it all). Then we had to clean the dirty hairy bathroom. Furious.
