Candlewood Suites Boise - Towne Square

When I arrived it seemed like chaos in the lobby. The group of people all wanting something was large and loud. Emma, the desk clerk, stayed calm and collected and was able to handle all of the issues satisfying everyone present. On day 2 my door lock mechanism quit working and Emma came to the room changed the batteries and got me back on track. Good place to stay and they have a great Emma.

This property decided to re-book me at the Candlewood Suites in Meridian with no notice other than a second confirmation email sent at check in time. When they rebooked me, they decided to take an extra 2,500 points out of my account. I’m okay with the wasted 20 minutes of driving on a day where I’d already driven seven hours, and can live with the fact they never called me, but find it questionable that a property can decide to deduct extra points from my account when they are the one inconveniencing me by walking me to another property. By contrast, a Marriott property once comped my stay for the inconvenience of walking me to a different property. I’m still trying to get the points they deducted back into my account. Overall, this is horrible customer service. And since they did this to a customer that is Spire Elite, they clearly don’t recognize status levels. This is by far the worst customer service I’ve received at any IHG hotel.

Pretty good stay some of the other guest were loud at night slamming doors. Otherwise good stay with grill access.

Little slow to get checked in but a nice clean room was waiting at the end!

$200 for chocolate stains which they claim are blood but no one was bleeding the entire time we were there. Popcorn and candy on the floor is not excessive cleaning. Worst hotel in area. Side note we found blood thinner medication on the floor next to the bed and not in a bottle. Too clarify I was with the guest while checking out and saw the bottle of chocolate milk leaking on pillow. why would we lie you have her money already. Benefits us none to lie. Your house keeper is wrong it's 100% chocolate. 2 witnesses.
