Room was amazing. Lots of space, very clean. Staff was nice. However, I went with this hotel for the pool and what looked like an amazing breakfast. Breakfast was a granola bar and a muffin. We weren't even able to use the pool because it's on a reservation basis. I understand COVID has screwed everything up but we should have been informed about the pool and breakfast situations when we were booking. Our anniversary weekend was not what we planned and we had to spend more money than planned so we could have an actual breakfast.
The lobby furniture was visually worn out. Dents and dings we're very noticeable.nnThe room was of a good size. However, the shower door had soap scum on it. No coffee maker. The floor could have been vacuumed. The hallway had spills on the carpet which was disappointing to see.nnI won't stay here again
Travel often to Boise, and have stayed here before. Up until my current visit I have enjoyed this hotel, however... This time was different! I reserved my King room about a month before my visit. Arrived and was told all they had was a double bed. I don’t really understand how hotels book, and I want relishing the thought of cramming into a double bed, that wasn’t my issue. There was no apology; just attitude - she actually said, “that’s just how it is, you don’t get what you reserve.” What?!nnThe next morning I was drinking my coffee in the lobby, and another lady yelled at me about wearing my mask. I asked her how I was supposed to drink coffee with a mask on, and she told me it was more important to wear my mask. What?!nnLastly, the hearing and cooling... There is a unit at one wind of the room and the thermostat at the other. You cannot choose “Heat” or “AC” - you just choose a temperature. All night long the unit would literally switch between freezing cold air and then suffocating me with blasting heat!nnAfter my previous interactions I didn’t even want to deal with the front desk people again, so I just lived with it.nnIt’s a nice property, but this place needs a new Mgr who is more concerned with people than policy. After a long trip you want to be treated kindly when you arrive at your destination. This Mgr needs a refresher in Customer Service or go work for the DMV!
My family went to Idaho for the first time for the night. After a long drive, we arrive at the hotel where we got greeted with a warm and friendly smile. The front desk agent who checked us was very friendly and follow all the Safety procedures. The next morning, the agent who checked us was also friendly, she also follow the Safety procedures while serving breakfast and was really nice. We asked if we could get a late check out, she accommodates us with a nice but we ended up not needing it due to the weather so we could drive back home. Thank you for great Customer service!!
This was the most difficult place to deal with in a 2 week 3 state journey. I chose this hotel because they had an airport shuttle. When I called to make sure they could pick us up in the time we would be arriving, since it was a late arrival, they informed me it was not running at all. This was not listed on their website. Also the person checking me in was not friendly or even acknowledge when I mentioned how difficult it had been to work with them. Comparing this to other hotels in the area or to ones in New York at this Covid-19 that were friendly, ran a shuttle even to go to dinner and the airport. Disappointed coming home to this
