Boise Hillside Suites

My wife and I have stayed here a few times before and loved it , but this time around the poor communication ruined it for us. We booked a month in advance and were charged for the stay then. Two days before our stay we received a confirmation email , confirmed and was charged again. Showed up at our check-in time , nobody to be found , called , text and email....no response. So, we paid for our stay at home and 4 days later still no response. ( Except an email thanking us for our stay)

We spent three nights in Marjorie's Library while in Boise for a family wedding. The room was stylish and comfortable and Ashley is a great hostess! We even hosted a sibling at the little dining table outside, which was the perfect spot for morning coffee. The hot tub was a nice feature, as was the little kitchen area, so we could avoid crowds for meals. Another thing we liked was the elevated rear entrance, so we could drive up and not have to drag our very heavy luggage up stairs. It seemed to be pretty centrally located for the north end of Boise/Eagle; everything we did was within a 20-minute drive. We will definitely look to stay here again -- and so should you!

Absolutely loved our stay in Marjorie's Library! It was an overnight date night. The space is super quiet and cozy! Nicely decorated, very comfortable bed and great location. We will definitely be staying here again.

Private access, private hot tub, very comfortable king bed, fireplace... It had everything we were looking for. We had a wonderful anniversary away from the kids and felt very sheltered during a romantic lightning storm!

WARNING - SCAM - READ!!! We booked here for September 7th through the 10th. We had email and text communication. On the day of check in, I was texting Ashley with our expected time of arrival throughout the day so that staff could prepare. At 7:45pm, I text her an update as we were experiencing car problems and just wanted her to leave the key under the mat or text me a code. Ashley got back to me and apologized profusely that she had not contacted me sooner as one of their staff members tested positive for Covid so all reservations had been cancelled days prior to our arrival. Because she realized she hadn't contacted me specifically, she was kind enough to find us another hotel as we were not from the area and Venmo'd me our first night's stay to compensate us for the trouble and would refund our stay for their place. Ashley kept true to her word on the hotel and the Venmo but I have yet to receive a refund for our stay that never took place which totals $501.54. I have emailed, text and left messages. I gave her to today before I took to social media. Today I did some research and the LLC that owns the property filed to dissolve/inactivate the LLC on September 4th which means she knew on the 7th that their LLC was done and I wasn't getting a refund. Avoid any properties owned by William Dean Long, Green Falls, LLC or Hillside Suites if and when they reopen under another name. I'm going to be seeking legal action in small claims for my $500+! This means when they took my deposit on August 27th they knew they were dissolving their LLC as it was only a week that passed and when the charged my card on September 7th prior to my conversation with Ashley that staff had Covid, they had already dissolved their LLC. Total SCAM!
