Maluhia Hanalei Vacation Rental

I’m so lucky I got the opportunity to stay at this house! The location is amazing! So close to the beach ( 5 min walk ) and yet in a quiet and pleasant neighborhood.nnThe house is very clean and tidy. Clean sheets, towels.. all smells good!nnThe plants around the house are spectacular! Feels like a rain forest, crazy and unbelievable flowers, beautiful and unique birds that sings all day. For me it was heaven!nnThe kitchen is perfectly equipped. For the cooks out there this is just what they need.nAnd it’s so great to cook while you can pick outside the window at the breathtaking view.nnThe restaurants are fantastic!nThey locals are very welcoming and friendly.nnWhat a wonderful trip it was! Aloha! What an incredible home and an incredible vacation for our entire family! We rented the home for 8 days for a family vacation with family members from 3 years old to 65 years old. It was perfect for our family! We actually rented both the upstairs 3 bedroom and the downstairs 2 bedroom. Could not be more perfect! Marney was incredible to work with and the house had everything we could possibly need...and more! We had everything you could possible need for the beach: chairs, umbrellas, beach toys and boogie boards in abundance! And there were 3 sand wagons that our little ones loved! The 2 washer and dryers were great for beach towels (in abundance also!) and family clothing. We loved sitting out on the deck for a cool breeze and watching the chickens on the lawn. We did not see any bugs except one spider outside. The beds were comfortable and everything was spotless when we arrived! There were plenty of fans to move the air around and we loved the cooler evenings and hearing the rain on the roof. There is also an outdoor shower that was great coming home from the beach. The family enjoyed the big living room and kitchen and we never felt crowded. The kitchen was also had everything we needed for cooking, blending, and making coffee. It was fulled with supplies, pots, pans, dishes, etc...everything you would ever need! It is so close to the beach and we walked everywhere. The beach is about one block to the most amazing spot and Hanalei town was only 2 blocks away. Even though we were in a neighborhood, it felt very private down the long driveway and surrounded by tropical plants. We all miss it already and cannot wait to return! I wold definitely recommend this home without any reservations!!!

This was our 3rd visit to this lovely home just a short walk from spectacular Hanalei Bay! The house was perfect for our large family (ages 2 to 73 years). It is well stocked with everything you need for an awesome Hawaiian vacation. Marney has thought of everything, from beach chairs, beach towels and umbrellas, sand toys, and boogie boards to the sand wagons to transport everything for your time at the beach. Kayaks and paddle boards can be rented ahead of time from a local vendor and delivered to the house on the date you specify. The house is immaculate and very comfortable, and there are two washer/dryers on site to accommodate the needs of larger groups. Set back from the street and surrounded by lush trees and tropical foliage you feel like you’re in your own private part of paradise. Also, I can’t say enough about how accommodating and quick to respond Marney has always been. Kauai is a beautiful island, Hanalei is a lovely little town just a short walk from the house, and don’t forget to stroll down to the beach to watch the spectacular sunset each day. As I mentioned initially, this was our 3rd visit to this wonderful place and we all agreed it was our best time yet!!

The downstairs has been completely remodeled, and it looks just beautiful. All new appliances, furniture, beds, etc...nThere are new furnishings upstairs as well.nA new temperature reducing roof was just put on (a lighter color and a new material), and the ceiling vent fans were serviced all resulting in improved airflow and cooler temperatures.nIt’s a very beautiful home, and in such a beautiful setting!

We had a great experience here! A very short walk to the beach. The rental comes stocked with almost every type of beach gear you could possibly imagine. The place was very comfortable. It was well maintained. We saw no bugs inside the place despite what another reviewer stated. Maybe that reviewer needs to learn to keep the screen doors shut ;) We enjoyed our stay here greatly. I would recommend this place.
