OYO Hotel Yakima North - Sunshine

It has decent rooms. Bed is super comfy. The owner is awesome and always make sure everything is fine on the security camera.

While staying in the Yakima Washington OYO Hotel I was not allowed to have guests, I felt like I was watched every move I made. I was treated like common Criminal! After my second night there I found a bed bug in the bathroom when I made the complaint to customer service on the phone they put me on hold then hung up on me. I went back to the motel talk to the manager that was not on duty when I left and I have not seen prior to this and told her I found a bedbug in my room and that I had it in a plastic baggie in a drawer in my room. The cleaning lady told the manager to make her a key the manager said just use mine and the cleaning lady took her key and proceeded to go to my room with out asking for permission. When she was going up the stairs my mom asked to manager if she was going to my room and the manager looks at me and says is your stuff still in the room and I says yeah and had her stop when I got up to the top of the stairs she said I'm the cleaning lady and I just want to see for myself after taking her in the room and showing her the bag she proceeded to look at the mattresses and then basically said that either I was lying or I brought them because the room was newly remodeled and they even lied and said I was the first person in that room which was a lie. They did refund my money for the remainder of the days after almost arguing with them down in the lobby and they said that their reviews are from people from Yakima and they tried to stop people from Yakima from staying in their rooms because they're all bunch of drug addicts and such but not every review is from the people from Yakima the OYO Hotel in Yakima is no good the managers may be different but the cleaning lady is still from the sunshine Motel which was a drug-infested place the maintenance man that used to work for the sunshine and still works for the OYO Hotel used to sell and buy drugs issue is at this time how is it they can refunded my money within 24 hours but they're telling me I got to wait 7 to 14 days for my hundred dollar deposit how is that right the OYO Hotel in Yakima and as far as I'm concerned any of them anywhere are no good especially if they're ran by people like the ones in Yakima Washington

I worked outside by there. Never went in, that 3 star is a question, i dont know. But the area is really sketchy,lots of homeless in the area, i guess the city of Yakima Just doesnt care about the homeless. They arent doing anything that i could see to help them, maybe this post will help the owner of this place..... I doubt it,bummer!

WORST NEIGHBORHOOD EVER... TO SCARED TO EVEN WALK MY DOG.... DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE ANY CLASS AT ALL.
