I had a reservation and showed up to check in, to find out the hotel is closed. They did not notify me (or the travel agency my company uses) not recommend. Poor management

During these crazy times with COVID madness, they re-opened the day I checked in and I couldn't have asked for better service. Room was clean, bed was comfy, and the hotel staff was very friendly. If I am ever traveling through again, I will be staying here again. Also, masks, masks, and masks! They had them to hand out!

For being on campus, the location is very quiet and relaxing. This hotel is top notch all the way around. Check in was quick, easy and informative about the area. We have stayed at the other Marriott's in the area and this is by far the best one! The general manager was training a new front desk clerk and they were both superbly friendly and knowledgeable when I checked in. I met a colleague in the Bistro for dinner and it was fabulous. I had the roasted chicken and she had the tomato bisque soup and both were perfect. The bartender was really friendly and they even have local wine on tap and by the bottle which is unique for a large company like Marriott. I had hesitated to try this hotel only due to them not providing a free breakfast buffet like the other hotels but their breakfast menu is great and full of options, it's made to order with fresh ingredients, way way way better than the boring buffets at the other hotels. I was not here for business at the university which I was assuming that's all who stays here like the hotel next door, but they were full of all kinds of business folks in the area for work. The lobby is very warm, inviting and great for meeting people. This has become my new place to stay when I come to town for work.

I've stayed here for my second time now, both for 2 nights, and I love the rooms. They are clean and have modern furnishings and are very spacious. The staff is friendly and helpful and always available. The gym is new and always clean. Every time I've used it, there are fresh towels hanging on all of the equipment and everything is put where it belongs. My only complaint is there is a limited selection of food at the restaurant, however, they do have healthy options so I'm satisfied for my short stay.

Booked a reservation to come pick up my daughter from WSU only to find out they are closed due to the pandemic and got moved to the Residence Inn. If I had wanted the Residence Inn, I would have booked there. I specifically booked the Courtyard as it is the nicer hotel. Not very cool to still have it so people can book the Courtyard and then have to move to the Residence Inn. I used to stay at the Residence but it was never as clean and nice as the Courtyard. Going forward I will start staying at the Holiday Inn.
