Sandman Hotel & Suites Abbotsford

The room was clean and comfortable and had a washer, dryer and dishwasher. It was truly a place that a person could live long term if they needed to. But unfortunately, the furniture was very worn and needed replacing.nThe power went out suddenly during my stay and was out for a a few hours which meant no lights but also no heat. Guests checking in were given the option of going to the other Sandman in Abbotsford. Resident guests were not given an option nor offered compensation.nDenny's Restaurant which is part of the Sandman hotel was not open the hours advertised. The TV in the bedroom wasn't working and the maintenance man came and repaired it. It worked for a brief period of time, and then didn't work again for my stay. He said that Shaw was the provider and they had a problem with their network.nThe rate was good, but the hotel badly needs maintenance. The roof of the overhead to the lobby was filled with water, making it a breeding ground for bacteria and eventually leading to rotting of the structure, making it a safety hazard. Management should invest in the property to maintain it as it is only six years old???

Was a lovely stay. So nice to be able to bring your pets. my pup and I really enjoyed the suite that accommodated us.

Unfortunately for the Abbotsford area, this is a premium hotel. This is based on even with using hotels.com the deluxe suite the price for the room. Outdated and uncomfortable furniture. The bed however was super comfortable with good pillows. The shower was also nice with little bottles of shampoo etc.. The large towels were hidden behind the bathroom door. The kitchen only has a microwave no stove or oven. Even a toaster oven would have been nice. No pay per view tv and no HD channels and no movie channels. Again, this review is based on the price because I can find hotels for a better price with the same comforts. Cheers!

Nice friendly staff. Very clean, and quiet room with all the amenities needed. Stayed in the King Deluxe Suite and it was perfect.nMost comfortable beds ever!! Will definitely stay there again. Only negative was they have no pool. Still worth the stay though!!

Standard quality hotel. Customer's service was great, welcoming - room were clean and adequate. However with all hotels of this group, bathroom products are terrible. Time to change this, it's actually terrible! Hotel is conveniently located - calm neighborhood.
