I was here to vote in the recent BC Election but did not stay at the hotel. Adequate parking. Looks clean enough, although I didn't take the time to inspect thoroughly. The facility did not smell bad like so many hotels do. Clearly posted social distance instructions and hand sanitizer at the entrance. Automatic doors. Elevator to the conference level.
Nice hotel, pool and hottub were nice temperature. Located next to walking trails and Castle fun park. Staff is helpful and friendly. The only problem was that there was only one set of coin laundry machines for guests. Front desk ran out of loonies, so I found some, then when I had my wash in...someone put their towels and swimsuits in the dryer ahead of me for 45 mins...rude!nBut good hotel, my suite was awesome and so were the nature walks!
They said we could use the pool but we had to book a time slot. They give you an hour for the pool and it’s a maximum of 10 people allowed, first of all the pool isn’t even big enough for that many people and second of all our time slot was over booked because they had 4 people already in the pool doing swimming lessons.. They need a better system
The over all stay at the hotel was great!nThe lady who works at the front desk Nicole needs an attitude adjustment!! She is very rude and hostile. I would not recommend anyone to this hotel if she is working the desk. I think you guys need to evaluate her cause her customer service skill are just awful.
Quality hotel in whatcom is one of those really great places that's at the center of all the action but somehow retains its peace and quiet.
