Windmill Inn Lynden

It was an older place, but clean & quaint. I like the older more sturdy bathroom fixtures than we have in newer places. It was quiet & had great parking for my huge U-Haul & trailer

Bed was very springy and it felt like our heads would fall in between the bed and the headboard. Room was very small but clean and parking was right outside our door. It was a decent place to stop on a long trip, right by everything in town fast food, groceries, gas, etc

Large, but uncomfortable bed. Tiny/cramped bathroom. Inoperable hair dryer. Insufficient lighting. Inoperable television. Hot water only tepid. No extra bedding (blankets, pillows). Uncontrollable heating (no thermostat - fixed setting radiators); not warm enough for us. Lobby coffee not started/ready even at 0900. Musty/moldy smell. Only stay here if nothing else available in vicinity and only if room charge around $20, since that's all it's worth.

The rooms are well cleaned and the owners are great but it's a sketchy area and one side is short term rentals.
