Hey I stayed here. The landlord intrusion over and over again sours the stay at this place. When you book it says that all the common areas are too be shared, but the landlord makes you feel you should just stay in your room. Hopefully he learns to treat the renters better from the reviews...but my impression of him was he is not capable of learning or improving...just justifying his inconsiderate actions.

The location of house is great for tourists. However, the landlord Harry made our stay uncomfortable, because he kept turning up at the property even though he told me that he doesn't live there, and took $800 damage deposit. It seems he has anxiety issues re renters, don't know if he thought we would steal his furniture, or bring in more people to stay than listed on booking? Also I was charged $120 for cleaning fees while we stayed there...but no cleaner came by to clean our rooms even though we paid the fee :(nBe Warned that Harry thinks you should pay for the wear and tear of the property which happens when you rent to the public over number of years. He texted me after our stay that the toilet seat cover was broken...I mean how many times has the seat cover been lifted and dropped over the rental of this property, by many different people?...and somehow I should pay for it. My sister tells me the seat cover was loose in the back, and just needed to be tightened. According to Harry the charge came to $150. Is this greedy or what?

Lovely home, friendly hosts,,ngood location. High recommendation

The placa is on a quiet street, we arrived on a city bus from the border with the US. The room is spacious (stayed in the room with a private bathroom). Breakfast was good and the owners were very welcoming.
