Semiahmoo Resort

I love this place. What can I say. We've been coming here on and off for the last 10 years. Great escape from the Seattle area. Very relaxing, good food, and the kids love the tide pools (and the swimming pool). As parents - there's not too much to do here, which is a good thing. It's real R&R - you can turn your phone off and truly relax for a few days. Birch Beach is nearby with a great ice cream shop and boardwalk. If you're into golf- there's golfing here too... looking forward to spending a lot more time here in the future.

Amazing! My family and I just stayed two nights. They are doing a great job with all the Covid restrictions. We felt very safe and comfortable being there. The movie theater was a huge hit with the kids. The pool was warm enough even in the chilly weather. Great time to go with the low occupancy. We did a fire on the beach and roasted marshmallows. Great family vacation stop.nThe pool hours are a bummer, it doesn’t open until noon, with small kids that get up early that was hard. Also the shower products are terrible, bring your own.

The large lawn between the hotel and the water is well setup in our current times of coronavirus with numerous umbrellaed tables, pairs of rocking chairs, and picnic tables so that families can get their food from either establishment at the hotel and eat outside. The waterfront rooms are very large and spacious. The complimentary s'mores kits and lit fire pits onsite are great for couples and families.

My wife and I enjoyed the resort a great deal during our annual vacation - everyone was very friendly and helpful. The views of Vancouver and of the sound are excellent and the sunsets are epic. Staff adhered to social distancing, masks etc. including the timing of arrivals and departures. We indulged in the spa and were very relaxed after our massages - the spa staff were friendly and very accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable.

Our room and view were extremely nice. We walked on the beach and sat on the lawn and relaxed. The fireplace inside was really nice.nWe had breakfast at the cafe in the resort and it was average and a bit spendy. Lunch was at the gift shop on the property andnI would not recommend the turkey sandwich. It was terrible, but my husband had the chicken salad and it was really good.nPackers at the resort has fantastic food. The salmon was exceptional, but do expect a long wait for food. The bar will not honor happy hour even if you were waiting in line for 5-7 minutes before the end of it.nAll in all it was a wonderful visit.
