Northwoods Motel

Very Clean and Tremendous Hospitality. The tale of the Good Samaritan - I walked all the way from Surrey, BC to the Northwoods Motel in 2014. I was all alone, I only had the clothes on my back, I was miles away from my home in Arizona. I needed back surgery and a hip replacement. It took me 12 hours in the condition I was in, to walk from Surrey, BC to the Northwoods Motel.nnI had no money to my name, I asked to use the phone and the family that owned the Motel let me do so. I called my mother for money and as the sun set the money had not arrived. The family let me stay the night until the money arrived that next morning.nnThe husband later the next day took me to a Western Union to grab cash that was sent for my ride home to Arizona. While we where out at the Western Union, the wife had so graciously called me a cab. As the family bid me farewell I tried to tip them for their hospitality and kindness, they told me a tip was unnecessary. As I pulled away in the cab I started to cry at the LOVE THEY SHOWED A COMPLETE STRANGER!!nnI WILL NEVER FORGET THEM. I WANT TO THANK YOU AGAIN FOR YOUR CARE AND CHRIST LIKE COMPASSION FROM ARIZONA! ❤ufe0f

Clean freshly renovated rooms with nice laminate flooring, new bathroom fixtures, comfortable mattresses, a/c, cable tv, microwave and mini-fridge. Clothes washer and dryer on site. Closest motel to Peace Arch Park and a few moments walk to Starbucks, restaurants, the beautiful marina and all of the best that Blaine has to offer. The owners and staff are friendly and very accommodating. As far as motels go, this is a good one. I wish I could stay longer.

Very quaint updated motel. Extremely clean (we witnessed them even wiping down the door jam!). Friendly and gas / market close by. Only minutes to the border crossing.

Rm was clean , shower water hot, beds ok. No coffee, no soap, shower gel or shampoo in the dispenser in the bath room blow dryer did not work. Ok for a quick stop over but don’t expect much

Stayed in two rooms. Rooms are great for the price, very spacious. Short walk from downtown and some parks and trails, as well as a really awesome Thai place. The owner was very kind and helped me out quite a bit.
