The Chrysalis Inn & Spa Bellingham, Curio Collection by Hilton

I haven’t been to the chrysalis for a long time. Not since the start of the virus or since the new Hilton management. This is the first time that I’ve been here for breakfast. Absolutely wonderful sitting outside looking at the bay through the IV the owners breakfast was incredible. You must check that out. They are following all Covid standards. I was very comfortable.

Great first impression of the Chrysalis. With the Hilton app bypassed the front desk and checked in on app and used digital key. View of the Bay is awesome from room 315. Has onsite restaurant though won't get a chance to eat there. Outside patio should be awesome once life returns.

This is an awesome hotel with spacious room features. Super ud83dudc9e clean with incredible water view. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful! Restaurant have lots variety of food and drinks! Must visit again soon! Thanks for your hospitality!

We went to the spa and the experience was mediocre at best. I’ve been to this spa many times and have become accustomed to a certain experience at this price point. You go here for the ambiance, the sauna, the robes, the tea, etc. Due to Covid, the relaxation room, saunas and tea were not available. The usual check in and select your oil scent was not available. We checked in early and were told to wait in the lobby for our masseuses and were brought back at massage time. We changed in the room and my belongings were placed into a plastic bag. I was asked to wear a mask while the massage was taking place, even gave down in the face cradle. The face cradle is not open to the air. Rather the cloth covering is fully encompassing and wearing a mask face down in the cradle would make it extremely hard to breathe. I did not cover my nose while I was face down. The massage table was not warm and only a sheet was the covering. If you’ve been here before you know that there is usually a sheet plus a blanket of sorts. The sheet alone made for a very cold hour. My masseuse did not seem to recognize that I was cold, even though I had goose bumps the whole time. The feeling of being cold made this for a less than enjoyable massage. The massage itself lacked in any pressure whatsoever. I’ve gotten better massages from my 15 year old. Once your done, out you go. No one even asked how the experience was but you surely pay full price for this experience. The Chrysalis should not be charging full price right now. Highly disappointed. Next time I’ll go to Still Life where I have always had a good massage

One if our favorite hotels of all time. Incredible view from room, nice restaurant w/view, Fairhaven,trails and parks are a step away to keep you entertained. Hotel is clean and rooms have nice firm beds that great for the back
