The Inn was clean and orderly as was the room. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room had the basic amenities plus a bit more.I was given fresh towels and my bed was made for each day of my stay of which I really appreciated. I'm not a very messy person, so I don't know if the floor was vacuumed or not...but the floor remained clean. There was free cable TV with shows I would actually enjoy watching. I was given the choice of staying on the first floor or climb stairs to the 2nd. I chose the first floor... easy access. They serve a continental breakfast in the morning. Actually, I've paid twice the amount I paid here and received much less at other hotels. I have a grandchild at WWU, so I will be back.

Wow! First impressions are important! This is the cleanest hotel ever. Staff are super friendly and even offered to take our luggage from the car into our room. You don't see that ever! I highly recommend this place as the price is amazing also...

I reserved a room at the Coachman Inn for a same-night stay. I was warmly welcomed by name at the front desk despite the fact that I was arriving late. Both on the phone while reserving, and in person upon my arrival and checkout, the staff was friendly and kind. The room was meticulously cleaned and the bed was comfortable. For the price of the reservation, my experience at the Coachman Inn felt like a steal. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to my family and friends. Honestly, I cannot say enough positive things about this family-run business.

We stayed here in room 112 for a week while apartment hunting in Bellingham. My gf and I enjoyed it and we both slept really great. This place is comfortable and clean with nice management and owners.

Pleasantly surprised. Based on the cost I thought this was going to be very poor quality, but it was much nicer than I anticipated.nYes, the building is dated and some of the furniture is visibly worn. However, everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, the HVAC window unit worked very well, and the staff were nice. Not as nice as a Best Western, but heaps better than a Motel 6 and you can't beat that price for what you get.nNot close to downtown Bellingham, it's out by WWU - less than a 5 min drive from the WWU Testing Center. There are several fast food options and a few restaurants within walking distance.
