Closing time! 10 or 15 min before closing time this Houston family of 3 arrives at Rim Cyclery and Kelby meets us at the door. Surprised us that he was all smiles that close to closing time. My husband shopped for a tire for my bike, I shopped for a few riding shorts and our 10 year old son asked tons of questions.
At that hour they offered to put the tire on. Husband ran back to hotel and brought my bike back.for installation and sealed it too letting us know there are thorns along trails. Really? Wow! Thanks for the heads up . We were good to go!
I bought a couple of outfits and out we ran back to our hotel.
Next day we stopped back in to exchange one garment and they were so welcoming, you would have thought we were long lost friends.
My son had a question about his bike and they helped fit him with something that would suit him well long term “on the house” since it was his birthday trip.
We’ve made lifetime friends with Kelby and Pat. This place is awesome, clean, prompt and FRIENDLY!
A new home away from home.
Rented a couple of mountain bikes and a bike rack from these guys and had a fantastic experience. If you're struggling to make the shuttle system in Moab work for you definitely consider renting a bike rack. Inexpensive and gives you much more flexibility! Staff went the extra mile of helping us put the rack on the rental car and walking us through the nuances of our bikes. Definitely check these guys out!
My son and I rented a couple of bikes from the Rim. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The bike rental was a good deal, the bikes were in good repair and worked great. They have maps for trails.
I would also like to add the Rim Cyclery rentals are fully set up for your ride. They include a helmate if you need it, each bike has a pump and a small saddle bag with tools and a spare tube. They run tubeless so you shouldn't ever have a flat, but if you did they have your back. And they include a water bottle, that of course you can keep. Definitely worth the rental price.
Buddy and I wanted mountain bike day rentals for Dead Horse State Park. Called a number of places but only Rim could provide good availability of bikes in various sizes, but also trunk/hatch back rack rental. Kelby was great in setting us up first thing with our online reservations. Good shop, good staff, and great service.
These guys are awesome and know how to treat locals. No snobby California money run boutique bike shop with nitro cold brew on tap. I knew I was in the right place with Cheyenne’s bright smile and get it done attitude. Thank you Rim cyclery.
