Such a great experience renting bikes here. First, they have an online rental form which made making a reservation a cinch when we last-minute decided to mountain bike. Next, they rent more than just bikes, we were able to rent a 'universal rack' (not a hitch) for cheap which allowed us to explore trails further away. Finally, (and maybe more important?) The people working were all super friendly. They made sure we got an intro to the bikes, we knew where we were going, and they were pleasant to interact with. If you're in Moab, this place is a great option for mountain bike rentals!

Broke a spoke on my rear wheel out while ridding on one of the technical trails in Moab. I immediately looked up the bike shops available in the area and Chili Pepper Bike Shop was on the top of the list. I can fully understand why this shop is highly rated; the atmosphere is extremely friendly, professional, and welcoming. The layout of the shop itself is truly impressive and the displays of everything were very well organized. I rolled my bike back to the shop and talked with one of the shop techs about my ordeal. He took my bike and gave it quick once over and found the correct length spoke that I needed and informed me what it would take to fix it. The kicker here is that I was on vacation when this happened and was leaving town the next day to go do some riding elsewhere in Utah before heading back to California. Paul was the rad tech who ended up working on my bike and got it repaired that same day. He informed of everything that he did to my wheel. Overall, this shop and its techs saved the rest of my trip. I’m truly stoked to have taken my bike there to have it worked on and would definitely go back. If you’re looking for a rad bike shop to take your shred sled to, then look no further; you’ve found it.

Helpful, knowledgeable service information and options. Fast, high quality work and clear communication. Good pricing. Fixed up my bike derailleur and got me back onto the trails same day!

I had phenomenal service from the mechanics! Detail oriented like I’ve never seen at a bike shop, with a detailed list of literally everything that was worked on. The old parts were given to me, showing me the wear and tear, including photos of brake lines that needed to be drained. Mechanic was patient with my limited knowledge of bikes, and truly caring to get my bike running right. A really refreshing and positive experience! And my bike has been running great since my visit! Thank you!!!

Very friendly service and fast pick up of my rental bike. Also, they fixed my friends bike so we could get back on the trail very quickly. The merchandise in the store was really good. Great helmet selection. I had to buy a new helmet as well.
