Absolutely love REI! This particular store is no exception. The staff is amazing and the quality of products is exceptional. Over the past 12 years I've purchased tents, boots, clothing, GPS units, watches, the list goes on. In the rare instance that a product does not meet my expectations, REI's generous return policy makes it easy to find a replacement. They're pro-get-outside activism nationally, at the state level, and locally make me love them even more. I am a Co-Op member and have never once regretted it. I can't recommend REI highly enough.
Several staff treated me like a criminal for returning some shoes that I had used several times but didn’t care to keep. I’ve spent thousands of dollars and am an REI member because of the flexible return policy. They deemed themselves the return police despite the clear return policy online, and did their best to make it a public hearing at the checkout stand. Have never had such an uncomfortable experience at any retail store.
Stopping everyone at the door to explain COVID rules. MUST have socks to try on shoes, even sandals. Can't try on anything. Definitely going a little extreme with the social distancing stuff.
I found a very professional and caring group of people and a great store ud83dude0a to shop in.
