We loved our stay here. They let us check in an hour early and all the staff we encountered were friendly. The room was clean and the bed was amazingly comfy with soft sheets. We loved having the kitchenette. The large hot tub was great but it didn’t really heat up. It would be nice to have a patch of grass in the pet relief area instead of rocks. The hotel is in a very convenient location with all the restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Try the Food Truck Park across the street! The quesadilla food truck and the shaved ice truck are amazing! The hotel is 10 minutes from Arches NP and 42 minutes from Canyonlands. We will definitely stay here again if we’re ever back in Moab.
We love Hilton! The suites are lovely. We certainly appreciate all of the extra cleaning effort during COVID. Even the breakfast provided was better than expected and better than other hotels we stayed at this trip. I was not offered my Gold Member welcome bag upon arrival, but we were given a quiet, top floor room.
Hands down the worse stay at any hotel. Television, out of service. Ceiling fan, out of service. The rooms were tired and smelled musty. We decided to call the front desk and move to a fully functional odorless room, this is when the nightmare began. The front desk was unoccupied for over an hour. Later the hotel manager lied about the time frame and was discovered. We actually left the hotel late that night in efforts to book a room ANYWHERE but Moab Homewood Suites!
During this COVID-19 pandemic, Moab Homewood Suites put my family at risk. The front desk was unattended in the evening for over an hour, probably longer... Customers were unable to check-in. We were unable to move rooms. Several days later, I emailed a complaint to Hilton. Moab Homewood Suites manager finally reached out to me via email. She initially falsely claimed her front desk attendant was absent for 10 minutes, this is a lie. She went on to say there was a sign stating the desk was unattended. A "sign" does not ensure all the occupants entering or staying in your hotel follow CDC guidelines. A “sigh” cannot address questions or concerns. A “sign” cannot ensure all those who enter follow safety protocols. A “sigh” does not count as staffing and cannot address a situation that would put my family at risk.
After Moab Homewood Suites manager refused to refund my points, I called Hilton customer service and spoke with a representative. The representative took notes of our conversation. I was able to prove the hotel manager was not telling the truth. The Hilton representative was able to time stamp the absence of the front desk attendant via my phone call that night. I started calling the front desk 30 minutes prior to me actually going down to the front desk. I was on the phone with Hilton customer service for some time while observing the unoccupied front desk. That night, Hilton customer service attempted to contact the Moab front desk confirming the station was unoccupied. I can verify the front desk was left unstaffed for well over an hour...I have photos and numerous videos as well…
Hilton customer service refuses to override the manager of Moab Homewood Suites remedy, which was (get this) a free night VIP stay! Everyone beware lies lies lies!
The staff were great, helpful and friendly. Room wasn't what I was expecting but it was comparable. Hilton needs to fix their website so that customers don't purchase a King Room and then get a Double Queen when they arrive... its messed up.
Great place for an extended stay. Super friendly and accommodating staff, well-equipped kitchenettes, and spacious rooms, which hid the traffic noise well. Only complaint is that windows couldn't be opened so air didn't feel very fresh at night.
