Such a sketchy location. I accidentally booked the wrong hotel, but didn’t think it would be this bad. Sign at the counter warns about drugs and locking the door at 9pm; a charge for having to open it after that time. Room smells horrendous, too much soap or something very strong. Curtains wouldn’t close because they broken, had to hook and tie to get them closed. Furniture looks dated. Bathroom is clean. Does have microwave and fridge on good condition. Wouldn’t stay here as a lone female, with kids, or unless you’re in need for a cheap place. Or too tired to look elsewhere, as is my case.
The hotel is old but acceptable if staying overnight. Location is good as it is next to the interstate. Nicole at the front desk is terrific as she exhibited friendliness and professionalism. Murphy, the maintenance guy, was also friendly and professional in fixing the shower curtain rail and window blinds. There is a safe in the room but it doesn't work because the hotel owners disconnected them. The reviews for this facility aren't great but that is the fault of the owners. If they are so cheap that they won't make the room safes operable, it gives you an idea of what to expect when you stay here. But Nicole and Murphy are great!
Worst experience of my life! Was going to be late so called to let them know. No answer on all phone #’s and all extensions! Called hotels.com not much help!! Had to pay for all 3 days for nothing! Will NEVER use them or .com again!! ud83dudc4eud83eudd2c
Said online pool was open. Arrive with children and no one says it is closed. Won’t give refund. Says it is our fault for not asking when online has misinformation. No one was wearing a mask, even with all of their poor signage around demanding that guests wear masks. Room was dirty (spots and stab Mark’s on duvet, disgusting surfaces, chewed and broken doors). Yikes. Second worst experience at a hotel of my life.
Huge rooms and great location for the price. The lobby area is nicely setup as a germ free area, but there was someone's hair on the toilet and it would not flush. Extremely helpful front desk staff got us into a new room in less than a minute which was clean, so i cant complain too much. It also would be good to know they only accept $100 cash for incidentals. I dont always walk around with that much money on me. Would stay again when in the area, thanks.
