Worst experience ever!!! I would give this pharmacy zero stars if I could!nnCalled Pharmacy for a refill while visiting from out of state. Prescription said ‘Refill by 8/11/2020’. Had to wait till 8/11 because the insurance won’t cover it if I refill any earlier. Got a text message from CVS on 8/14 saying it was ready, but when I went to pick it up, I was denied my refill because the tech said “it was expired”?!? Went back the next day to find out how I could get my sleep aid meds given it was a Saturday and doctor was closed. Asked for help & got Kathleen Hallisey. What a nightmare!!nnWhen I asked her why I could not get my refill, she told me it had expired according to her system, and she could not legally give me a prescription that was expired. OK but when I explained that the label didn’t say anything about the medicine being expired, she “If you don’t like the wording, take it up with corporate”! When I said why did you fill a prescription that was expired? She said they didn’t fill it. Then I showed her the text message from CVS on 8/14 saying it was filled and was ready for pickup. To that, she said, “Our text messages aren’t always accurate”. I said that I saw it filled last night when I came to pick it up. Oh, they didn’t know it was expired till I picked it up on 8/14. Then I had to hear all these reasons why I was wrong and how if I ran a red light and she was the police I’d get a ticket?!? Meanwhile, I just want my refill. So what do I do now? Kathleen said “call your doctor for another prescription”. This was Saturday; however doctor’s office isn’t open till Monday. Finally I had had enough and told her she won, but Kathleen refused to stop arguing and continued to argue at me as I left.nnKathleen @ CVS… If you knew the prescription was expired on 8/11 when I requested the refill, all you had to do was CALL ME and let me know instead of filling it! That way I would have had three work days to call my doctor, request a new prescription, and avoid this customer service fiasco! CVS Pharmacist Kathleen Hallisey was more concerned about winning the argument than resolving the issue. Now I’m out for three nights without the meds I desperately need and deeply frustrated.nnAvoid this Pharmacy!!!
I drove up to the pharmacy during the day and presented my prescription. The pharmacist ask me when I wanted my prescription. I said that I would wait for it if that was possible. There was no one behind me in line. The pharmacist said we probably don’t have it anyway. Let me take your phone number and I will call you when it was available. It would have been great if she would have checked to see if they had the medicine before guessing but she did not. Frustrated with the service, but I left the location to wait for my phone call. I waited for a phone call all night and all of the next day. No call. I called the store and fought my way through the phone system trying to speak with a live person. Upon reaching a live person, the pharmacists tells me the script was filled last night and they close in 15 minutes (pharmacy not the store). I explain the situation and ask if they can leave at the front desk. Of course the answer is no. This location routinely treats you as if you are problem vs a customer. I have ask for a call back from a manager. My guess is that call will not be made either. Please go elsewhere if you have a choice. The service here is not good.
They refuse to do price match, how are they going to survive against other big box. Lost customer for ever. It's on my way, so was easy but not paying 20% more for same product, same brand at Walmart.
This CVS is TERRIBLE!!! I had prescription from hospital that had 5 listed things that I needed 3 prescriptions and 2 over the counter medicines. The hospital said to just give the listing and any pharmacy would fill all. This CVS was so confused I ended up not getting what I needed. Customer service had such an attitude and didn' t lnow what they were doing. I usually go to CVS downtown who are excelllent but just had operation so had to go to CVS closest to home. VERY frustrating!! NOT helpful at all!! Next time I will go out of my way to another CVS.
