First of all I would like to say the staff here is 5 Star but hotel itself is very much in need of upgrading and rooms are very small. The carpets appear stained but think is something housekeeping cannot fix during to extreme age of carpets. For the price think you are more paying for best location access to Black Canyon and not for the hotel which really substandard compared to all other Hampton Inns visited. As for maintenance staff they are excellent as well. Had a broken hot tub switch and they fixed it same day. This is much better than Hampton Inn in Cortez where they could not even fix a light bulb. The scores are similar because this hotel is not updated like the one in Cortez but makes up for it in service. Once the hotel is upgraded and staff have more to work with I am sure this hotel could achieve a 5 star rating.
VERY clean and modern. Comfortable bed, and a nice roomy set-up. We didn’t take advantage of the hot breakfast but it looked nicer than others I’ve experienced during COVID. Will def return the next time we’re out here!
Super nice staff, nice pool and spa. However, the rooms are a bit small and are missing that Hampton luxury, but I think it is the best you would find in town and possible in the neighboor towns
Amazing service and quick check in. Room was in outstanding condition, very clean and lots of COVID protocols in place. The pool was quite fun with the kiddos too!
This hotel probably has the best COVID cleaning I’ve seen. They even put a clear bag over the tv remote and leave wet wipes in the room for you. The beds are comfy and the room was very clean. There was a fridge but I wish there was a microwave. They’re currently giving out little breakfast sandwiches which need to be microwaved and there’s one microwave in the breakfast area for everyone so there’s congestion during breakfast time. Pets stay free and in specific rooms on the first floor. There’s a gas station next door and restaurants nearby.
