We stayed four nights. We enjoyed one of the kitchenette apartment-size units for our stay. Nicely stocked with kitchen supplies, pots, pans, and utensils. Great for cooking our meals. Full-size coffee pot!nThe owners helped my do my laundry in their machines. Very helpful.nWhile the owners did not wear masks in their home office, they were accommodating with me social distancing. As a precaution, I always wipe down common touch points in any lodging where I am staying.

Well worth the wait. Only 23 rooms. Pool and hot tub operational, but pool is not heated. Big rooms. Only 4 are kitchenettes. All unique. TVs, fridges, and microwaves are different sizes so choose wisely. Wish there was a table to eat on. No overhead lights. Lamps are a little dim. No hair dryer. Can smoke outside front door or patio door if smart enough to pick room overlooking pool. 3 friendly dogs on property, especially Ruth in picture. Owner lives here so no loud parties allowed. Huge gas grill. Only coffee provided, but not till 7. Ask for ice at front desk. No laundry room, except cabin.nBiggest problem is the internet. The strength isn't even in each room. Consistent buffering depending on which router you are using. Wish routers were password protected too.nTV is small for distance to recliner or sitting in bed. And the TV stand doesn't rotate either.

What a gem this place is!!! Please, people...if coming to or through Montrose you should really take this advice and stay at the Country Lodge because it truly is the cleanest motel I have ever seen in my many travels, I was blown away at how clean and well-maintained this 1950 roadside motel remains in 2020!nYou can really see the love the owners feel for their property. For example, the whole courtyard pool/hot tub area is an example of gardening that anyone would aspire to grow....you just gotta see it. The individually decorated room themes are so on point. Please, don’t stay at a chain hotel when you have the option to embrace small business owners that do care about the experience...and it shows!

I want to live here! It's the cutest little place I've ever stayed at and its spotless. The decor is awesome and the pool area is so beautiful and peaceful with flowers everywhere! The owner made me feel so welcome..like an old friend. The pool and hot tub were amazing. I was just passing through this time but vacationing here will definitely be on my bucket list! Thanks Country Lodge.

I've stayed here twice, first time was outstanding , second time not too much.n4 kids living in the room over by the jacuzzi were screaming and jumping back and forth from the pool to the jacuzzi until almost 10 o'clock at night, not cool, and their mom was a fool. Still a great place if you aren't tired at ten o'clock like i was
