Took forever to get checked in.
It was fantastic. The staff was warm and friendly. They were super safe, especially with the covid times. We loved the Navajo jewelry in the den. Then hot breakfast was yummy. Thank you for your hospitality!!! We will be back.
We had a rough time with our hotels.com booking. I had to go through them to fix my error and at least two people had to call the front desk until Hotels.com figured out how to fix it... But it was worth it. Zach at the front desk was SO kind, funny, and knowledgeable . Very professional and definitely a welcome interaction after a long day of driving. The room was immaculate, the hotel is really cool, and the staff is wonderful! We will definitely be back when we come through Cortez again!!
Booked last minute as I was passing through town. Most importantly the room was very clean. The southwest style details throughout were great. Bed was comfortable enough. My only complaint was that the walls were very thin. I could hear the people above us leaving at 5am and housekeeping vacuuming around 8 as well as all of the noise in the hallway. Overall it was a pleasant stay for the night.
This is a nice HIE, it's been reliably clean in my several stays. Great cable package. Only thing that's weird is the 3rd floor rooms have fake balconies which let in a bit of noise with the sliding door. And the windows desperately needed to be washed on my last stay.
