Poor parking, fairly clean but very dated, you have to ask for pots and pans and dishes
Crimson Hills Motel (10/22/2018)
This is an antique a relic from the past an endangered species a little seen motor inn established in the 1950s. Nestled up against the mountains along an old US Highway that does not see nearly the traffic of its heyday. The rooms are clean and appliances are new. As with any buildings that are 70 years old the floors may creak and the pipes take a bit longer to get warm. The construction is of 1950s era. The rooms are a bit smaller then you will find in newer constructed establishments. The atmosphere is casual relaxed and homey surrounded by natural beauty. Please don't come and expect the Hilton for under $60 a night.

The woman that helped us was incredibly kind and nice. We got in late that night (10 or 11 pm local time) and she was still awake to greet us and help us check in. When we called, she noticed the area code and updated us on the weather we could expect on our journey. Cash or card accepted The room was surprising for the price! Queen size bed, gas stove, full size refrigerator, complete working kitchen, nice furniture, etc. For the price we typically pay, we're used to grungy run-down rooms that don't feel safe or clean. This is NOT the case here. The effort put forth is evident. The motel is located just inside a small town right off of I-15. There isn't a large sign way up high in the air, and it isn't right off of the highway or main road, so you won't find this place just driving by. Any GPS service will bring you right to the door. It is located near residential, so don't worry that you might be lost if you see houses. Final little fun note: they have an adorable sweet cat. Very vocal (but not loud), very sweet, and will walk right up to you for petting. This cat is the perfect mascot for the motel. Friendly, sweet, and caring.
