Great 3-week stay! (I initially booked for 3 days, then extended 3 times due to being very happy with the motel.) This motel is super-clean, and super-well maintained. The couple that runs it are nice, always saying hello if you see them. It's of course an older motel as you can see from the pics, but in no way is it run down. Was definitely nice to have the kitchenette (only avail. in some rooms). I'll definitely stay at the Siesta on my next trip to Durango!

Siesta Motel is a small, family owned and operated lodging located in Durango, CO. This is an older facility, a single story building in the legendary U configuration. On arrival I had to wait about 30 minutes for check in because no one answered the the front doorbell or the phone number listed on the reservation. The motel was mostly empty but I was assigned a room next to one of the other guests, I guess to let me confirm the thinness of the walls. The room was immaculate but quite dated. No phone or alarm clock. The flat screen TV was the size of a computer monitor. The bed was very comfortable.

Good vibes only! Such a cute little place to stay at clean, fresh and spacious...It even had 2 lazy boys which is awesome! Theres cute courtyard for picnics or smoking and even a gazebo. Marlene was amazing, she provided several recommendations During our stay in Durango and we loved them all! Great experience.

The Siesta Motel was the perfect, kitchy, little roadside motor inn, after spending a month on the road. The rooms are small but ours was neat, clean, and nicely appointed, the bed was comfy and the shower felt amazing. There's a small courtyard, with tables and chairs, and a grill, under some lovely shade trees.nThe owners are very pleasant and inviting, live on-site, and have owned it since 1975.

Great stay and great location! We could walk to lots of restaurants from here easily. Our dogs loved the stay too! Soft beds, kind staff. Thanks Siesta Motel!
