I stay at a lot of hotels, and feel quite snobbish when it comes to judging them. This place was a very pleasant surprise. Silent heater, ample space, spotless, good wifi, great customer service Stacey?, excellent location, felt super safe, the bed was wonderful, and the massaging shower head was an incredible delight after falling down a mountain all day, this is a hidden gem, word will get out soon and prices will rise, book this surprisingly amazing budget stay if available.
We stayed here for 5 days during our trip to Durango. The rooms were very comfortable. Liked the bathroom setup. Had a mirror and sink in the bathroom and another sink and mirror just outside odd the bathroom. Two people could easily get ready in the mornings at the same time. All the staff were extremely friendly
Great people at front desk, friendly and welcoming! Gave us some recommendations where to eat! Room was super clean and smells great. Sounds silly but some older hotel smell funky. Simple rooms but comfortable. Refrigerator in room was nice. Great location to everything.
For a Days Inn this is 5 star. Check in was friendly, hotel room (3 bed suite) was very nice- two queen beds with memory foam and a second bedroom w/one additional queen bed. 2 A/C units and a very nice shower head. the entire experience was an extreme contrast to the same room at the Days Inn in Taos. Laundry room had nice clean washer/dryer.
Not the best place - definitely on the lower end of Days Inns I've stayed at.nn-Blood on the sheets (dried blood that had been washed - just throw away the sheet?)n-Large red stain on the carpet, likely blood but not suren-Floors creak loudly, so we could hear the person above us late into the night (sounded like they were jumping or stomping on the floors)n-Clearly one of the more dated Days Inn properties (bathroom was very dated, thermostat was the old mercury dial, bathroom light switches I've never seen before)n-Not really the most welcoming exteriornnIf possible I'd recommend staying at a different hotel in Durango.
