I had the pleasure of staying at the Rochester for the first time in early September. In the weeks leading up to my trip, Laura and her team went out of their way to make sure my stay was perfect. Staying at the Rochester really feels like a home away from home. The entire staff is personable, professional and quick to help. Because I was working, my team also used the neighboring coworking space for meetings and the space is perfect. If you are looking for a quality hotel (with historical charm) and family-like staff all in the heart of downtown Durango, the Rochester is your place. Thank you again, Laura!
Very charming and the family really cares definitely worth a stay if you are in town.
Cutest hotel ever! We loved the breakfast and they had a nice happy hour for the guests. We enjoyed a drink on the beautiful patio. Quick walk to the downtown area and all the restaurants.
I dont know where to begin. These guys stayed up late waiting for my arrival for the very first time going to Durango. They treat you like family here and the room was beautiful and very welcoming. I highly recommend you come stay here if youre in Durango. Thanks for the bottle wine you gave me!
A nice hotel, but very hot room & dry environment as no humidified air. The bed was uncomfortable, very firm with a down topper.nnGood breakfast, friendly staff, great location. Think this is a fair review, but cranky after a bad nights sleep so it might be a tad harsh. Hope they can improve on their guests sleep.
